Protest Virgin Atlantic's violation of passenger rights!Boycott Description
This is a boycott of Virgin Atlantic, a division of the conglomerate Virgin. On June 22, the company left a jet on the tarmac at Hartford, CT for 4 hours. The aircraft had 314 people aboard and was on the runway from 8:30 pm to nearly 1 am after a trans-Atlantic flight! This atrocious violation of passenger rights and example of lack of planning and corporate corner-cutting is unacceptable.Boycott Demands
- Improve passenger treatment aboard Virgin Atlantic flights.
- Require all airlines to have plans drawn in the event of a problem with an international flight.
- Get compensation for the 300 passengers stranded on the flight.
