Magic Jack is crap I'm waiting 8 weeks to get my account reinstateed and I'm not the only one who has that Problem.I guess every one who is for MJ is working for them

My number was given to someone else when I noticed my number just quit working. I paid up front for a 5 year plan and only got to use magicjack for 1 year. Cannot reach a live person on phone to settle dispute.Boycott Demands

they canceled me for execive use no warning no refund no reconect cant sell it to get money back ,cant be used again ever by anybody.I have 2 majic jacks one regular and 1 mj+ ,on the call log i exported it list calls made and received for both numbers they said this was not so so i copied and pasted to our chat still
no luck there were a total of 140 calls over a 20 day period for 2 majic jacks and that was execive use ?
I have the Majic Jack and sometimes I cannot hear what the other person is saying. I have paid for another year, and was not aware that I needed a number to reactivate the phone at the start of the new year. How do I acquire that number when it is impossible to contact Magic Jack? (????) I had then bought the Magic Jack Plus but returned it when this one was not as clear as I thought it would be. Now I cannot get my refund for the return of the PLUS. I had to get on line and search to find a telephone number to be able to contact them. There is no telephone number on their website. Customer service is so bad that it practiclly does not exist. You get the impression of a not very honest company. I would not be surprised to see them disappear with no way to contact them for my refund.
Yeah! I like the idea of a Class Action Suit. Imagine how many people are being taken advantage of!! "ENOUGH" The people that I have spoken with are obviously "NOT" in the states and then have the NERVE to HANG UP on you in MID Sentence when you COMPLAIN!!
I was told that my unit had been delivered to the wrong address, being that it took so long to find this out I requested a refund. (That is after repeat calling for "2" Hrs. Twice was told the money would be refunded in 3 to 5 bussiness days. after that was hong up on after 2 1/2 hours of waiting when a lady answered and I asked to speak to a Supervisor.
Seems to me that a company that has no customer service, takes your money, has your credit card info and keeps dipping into your bank account NEEDS TO BE STOPPED! This is CRIMINAL!
I can understand your frustration. That sounds like a sticky situation. However, if magic jack starts hiring people to handle customer complaints, they would not be able to provide such affordable service. And it does clearly state on the back of the package that you have to renew every year. But I can see where the condition comes from if you paid upfront for a full five years. Also, have you tried emailing them? Anyway, regardless of their flaws, magic jack is still. Good company. Don't eliminate the only competition that keeps companies like Verizon in check.
