This company issues gift certificates with an expiration date. When there is a reason why the gift cannot be cashed in by that date the customer loses their money. Basically it is stolen, money taken with no service rendered. I understand a nonrefundable policy but to not re-issue the gift and just keep the cash is an injustice.Boycott Demands

There is a REASON why they put an expiration date on the gift certificate...I don't know what that reason is...we would have to track down the one person who has the answer...if you buy something at Walmart should it be returnable 5 years later cuz maybe you broke it or didn't like it anymore? NO!!! What is a warranty? It usually is issued or purchased for no more than 3 years...it has an EXPIRATION date. Just about everything has an expiration date..if you had a year to use your gift certificate I think that is more than generous; if you wait until the last minute to use & something comes up & you can't use it than snooze you lose...life sucks sometimes...get use to it & quit whining & boycotting...you're not hurting the company one ioda...your voice means nothing...but hey, have a great day
It is unspeakable that you would steal gift certificates from people using your airline, Christmas gifts, Birthday gifts or gifts for any reason. It is not alway possible to set a date when such a gift can be used. THINGS HAPPEN. It costs you nothing to honor the gift certificate, YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAID, but it costs the giver and receiver a lot!!! This is a VERY POOR business practice and will cost you customers, a lot of them, I will see this practice is reoprted to many many people on the internet, and many who fly with you but will use other airlines in the future. In todays economy this will really HURT you as well as those you CHEAT! You should change this practice immediately!!!!!
