My employer uses this bank and wrote a check off an account that can't be verified. How the hell does this type of thing happen?! Then when I try to call the bank's "24/7 customer service" number, I'm on hold for more than 20 minutes! Got so frustrated I hung up. This bank should be shut down!

I am set up for an auto deduction for my house payment. BOA took two payments at the same time and my account went in to an "overdraft status". I have been dealing with several people at BOA for 3 days. They can all see the double payment, but apparently no one there has the authority to put this money back into my account. Nor am I given a phone number to someone who can! I have been transferred several times and have been made several promises. They took my account "off" the overdraft status, but with a $ 5.00 balance. The week-end is here and I have no money for gas or grocerys. Not because I don't have the funds, it is because BOA made an error. This same thing happened to me several years ago with BOA.In the evening I had two people transfer me to customer service. I waited on hold for 5 mins only to hear a loud noise and be hung up on. When I called a third time I said please do not transfer me to customer service and explained what happened. She said, she did not know why they would tranfer me; customer service is closed!Boycott Demands

A person would have better luck calling the president of the USA and having him answer the phone than getting ANYONE at BOA to answer their phone or anser an Email with a question.

Bank of America let some one into my account because they were from CT to take out all of my money I live in Fl where this is not allowed I want my money back! Plus they charged me for over draft which is just insane
I have been thru many problems thru the years but recentely had to deal with a branch manager who was unreal uninformed arragont and wrong, as compared to my previous transactions, I no longer can trust the bank and will be removing approximately 500 thousand to some place that can at least have informed management.
refinanced and paid off bac loan january of 06 now its almost 5 years later and still trying to get them to record that they were paid. Told me it was the county that was slow what ever if they werent so busy taking peoples houses they would be able to get the paper work done that they should.
Do not expect any help from Bank of america on foreclosure..their help line or hardship benefit takes "months" to process. Boycott Bank of America!
I really hope this bank goes under or atleast gets into big trouble. They have redefined poor customer service to a level I never knew possible. Shame on you Bank of America!
I would suggest you file a complaint with the Bureau of Better Businees (www.bbb.org) it may take a few days but probablilities are you will get something done faster then just calling.
If you want to go further you can tell them you will file a case with your local Samll Claims Court ( if they took less than $2500.00 for the extra payment) claiming they breached contract when THEY took pymt of the house twice. So on a Small Claims Court you would be eligible to ask up to $2500.00 back due to their mistake and hassel you have gone trhough and will have to go through fo course this route is a long and tiring one but just the fact you let them know you are a knowledgable consumer may scare them.

It's funny, there are this many boycott's of Bank of Amer. and a lot of people join, but the company never responds to any of them.

I was also contacted by BOA collections stating I did not make my house payment. I gave him my confirmation number to prove the payment was made. After he reviewed, he could not figure out why I came on his list, he see two payments deducted on the due date.
Bank of America has not responded to this boycott yet.
